Sometimes a room does not need a complete renovation — just the right wallpaper and fabric can transform its entire character. This project in Mahagun Moderne, Indirapuram is a perfect example.
The homeowner wanted to refresh their 5-year-old living room without any civil or carpentry work. Our solution focused entirely on wallpaper, curtains, cushion covers, and a sofa re-upholstery.
For the main wall behind the sofa, we selected a premium non-woven wallpaper from the Nilaya by Asian Paints collection — a subtle geometric pattern in warm grey and gold that adds sophistication without overpowering the space. The opposite wall received a coordinating textured wallpaper in solid warm grey.
The curtains were custom-designed and tailored at our workshop. We used a double-layer approach — sheer white voile panels that filter daylight while maintaining privacy, layered behind heavy drape curtains in a rich olive green velvet fabric. The curtains hang from a concealed ceiling-mounted aluminium track for a clean, modern look.
The existing sofa set was re-upholstered in a durable linen-blend fabric in warm beige, giving it a completely new life at a fraction of the replacement cost. Scatter cushions in complementary patterns of olive, gold, and cream tie the entire room together.
We also added a set of matching roman blinds for the balcony door in a woven jute-cotton blend that adds texture while controlling light and maintaining the natural aesthetic.
All wallpaper installation was done by our trained applicators using imported adhesive for a bubble-free, long-lasting finish. The complete transformation including wallpaper, curtains, cushions, and sofa upholstery was done in just 6 days.
The result is a living room that looks and feels like a page from a design magazine — all achieved without a single day of noisy construction work.
